BEDAŞ, which caters to the European Side of Istanbul—a critical financial, commercial, and industrial hub—distributes approximately 27 billion kWh of electricity annually.
Operating within the Başkent electricity distribution region, Başkent Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş (BAŞKENT EDAŞ) is entrusted with the construction, upkeep, and management of electricity distribution networks across multiple provinces. Its reach extends to an impressive 7.5 million inhabitants across the provinces of Ankara, Bartın, Çankırı, Karabük, Kastamonu, Kırıkkale, and Zonguldak, making Başkent EDAŞ a crucial facilitator of electricity distribution in these regions.
Exhibiting a sustainable approach, TREDAŞ delivers high-quality service to its customers with its extensive infrastructure, consisting of 300,000 electricity poles, 20,000 kilometers of power lines, and 10,000 transformers, all spread across a vast area of 20,000 square kilometers in Thrace. This service is made possible by its dedicated workforce of 1,500 personnel. Employing the finest operational technology, TREDAŞ works diligently to ensure sufficient, seamless, and uninterrupted electrical power supply to its customers.
A critical part of daily life and a key enabler for agriculture, commerce, and industry, electricity is handled with utmost care by Gdz Elektrik. Since 2013, Gdz Elektrik has been dedicated to offering uninterrupted electricity distribution services to a staggering 3.6 million consumers and a population of 5.9 million. This service spans a total area of 13,123 square kilometers, encapsulating 47 districts and 2,383 neighborhoods within the provinces of İzmir and Manisa.
Established in 2005, Yeşilırmak Electricity Distribution Joint Stock Company (YEDAŞ) became a part of the Çalık Group in 2010, following a series of privatizations in Turkey. From its hub in Samsun, YEDAŞ provides service to the provinces of Amasya, Çorum, Ordu, and Sinop.
